Ortco Inc is looking for a full time Foreman.
Job Details
The basic function of the Foreman is to accept authority, responsibility, and accountability for all day-to-day activities associated with running and executingconstruction tasks in accordance with goals and priorities as provided by the Superintendent, assuring that all work is completed On-Time, within Scope and assuring Quality workmanship from ALL subs or laborers under Foreman supervision. You are the eyes of the company on-site who drives specific tradesmen and laborers to complete high-quality work on schedule per spec and code.
Education:
Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: OSHA 30/Competent Person Certificate; First Aid/CPR, NPSI.
Experience:
- Required: 5 years Operator and/or Site Laborer experience.
- Preferred: 2 years Playground Installation experience.
- Skills/Knowledge Abilities.
Required:
- Must be able to read plans & schematics. Must be detail-oriented and hard working.
- Must be able to develop a good relationship with subs and code officials.
- Must be resourceful, finding ways to resolve issues quickly.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required to meet the project schedule.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Time will be spent in a field construction environment without controlled temperature.
Normal business hours are typically Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or as
necessary to perform the required functions.
